The Learning Continues
Hello again, I hope 2010 has been treating everyone well! If you read my first blog post, you would learn that I am new to the world of food allergies and intolerances. During my time at Enjoy Life Foods, I have continued to expand my knowledge about the complexity and caution allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions entail for someone trying to find a safe meal and I’ve realized it does not come by easily! I have grown an appreciation for the foods Enjoy Life offers and it makes me proud to be part of a team that truly helps people enjoy life!
With this new information at hand, I began to wonder if I had any allergies that I was unaware of. I went to visit an allergist and had a skin test done and after itching like crazy in a few spots. I found out that I am allergic to dust mites (which I already knew thanks to my sneezing outbursts) and have developed an allergy to cats (also suspected thanks to my new inability to breathe well while visiting friends with cats). While I am relieved to find out that I don’t have any food related allergies, my interest in learning about the subject has not subsided.
Over the holiday season, we completed a photoshoot of our new and improved chewy on·the·go bars. After many rounds of edits to come up with the perfect package design, we are finally ready to ship the bars out to store shelves. This is very exciting for me as this was the first project that I have been a part of from start to finish. I am really happy and excited with the final product! Have you seen our new and improved chewy on·the·go bars in the stores yet? Be on the lookout for our new packaging and let me know when you see it; I hope you like it!
Happy Eating,
Diana
